Our COVID19 Response
Local Projects:
  • Winnipeg Harvest ($2,000)
  • Computers for Kids ($4,000) in partnership with Inspire Community Outreach.
  • Food Hampers for Families ($1,000) through Hugh John MacDonald School
  • Willow Place ($800) a women’s shelter. Funds were used to purchase PPE
  • Ma Mawi Emergency Food Program ($800) for children and in-need families
  • HIP National COVID-19 Fund ($500) Honouring Indigenous Peoples (HIP)
  • Finding Our Power Together ($2500) based out of Ryerson University to provide support to remote FN communities in northern and NW Ontario.
International Projects in South Africa:
  • Hippo Roller Water Carriers RC of Hillcrest (USD$500) transportation of potable water to homes
  • Food Supplies RC of Hillcrest($2,500)
  • Taking Care of Children RC of Johannesburg New Dawn (USD$1,500)
  • Porridge Project Rotary E-Club of South Africa One (USD$1,300)
  • Survival Gardens RC of Gibson (BC) & RC of Hillcrest ($3,500) – seeds and tools
